Whenever we consider griping how far we have to go to get to the Burlington area, we look around us and remind each other that people from other places vacation here, spending precious time and money, so they can drive the roads and see the magical vistas that we get to drive and see every day. I am always reminding my kids and my students to not take Vermont for granted. It is an incredibly beautiful place. The only thing that Vermont is missing: the ocean.
