How ‘Bout Them Apples?

A few late apples still clinging to the trees!

I haven’t tasted them in a week or two, but I’ve been helping myself all fall and they’re delicious!  I think all the trees around the trails must once have been part of an actual orchard but they’re now just sprinkled here and there for the benefit of the deer and the dogs, and any humans who aren’t afraid of a couple of spots.  Not quite cultivated, not quite wild, I think of them as feral trees.
